KUDOS: AIVF Member Screenings and
Accomplishments
Orin Portnoy's KILLER BUNNIES was
conceived in a dream in early 2002 on a hot night in February
and was shot weeks later in the Arizona desert. The film was shot
on super 8 and then transferred to DV and loaded into a G3 Mac
with Final Cut Pro where it was cut; the music was recorded on
the same Mac with Pro Tools. The crew was simple like the story.
Upcoming screenings at New York Independent Film and Video Festival,
New Filmmakers Series at Anthology Film Archives, Black Bear Film
Festival, and more.

Killer Bunnies Directed by Orin Portnoy
For a change, bunnies hunt humans in the hot Arizona desert. Thing
is, these bunnies are about six feet tall, carry rifles and smoke
stogies. And the humans they're hunting -- well, you'll just have
to get yourself down to this show and see for yourself. Shot in
glorious black and white Super 8mm.

....On the other hand, Orin Portnoy's
"Killer Bunnies" is a humorous, tongue-in-cheek comedy in which
two guys dressed in bunny suits roam the Arizona desert for the
perfect kill. It's enough to make any "furries" aficionado squirm.
